on using the VeloLogger™ Software

Importing previous years rides from other programs.

VeloLogger™ data is stored in a Microsoft Access® database (VeloLogger.mdb) file.   You can import your rides from any other program that is ODBC compliant, such as Microsoft Excel® or Microsoft Access® using Microsoft Access®.  To get bike, fork, cassette, tire, and wheel information, you may have to play some games by adding addional fields to your old program.

The import from your old program will NOT cause the bike/component data to be updated.  You will need to run the VeloLogger™ Synchronize Utility.  The Synchronize Utility was first included in VeloLogger™ Version 1.01.

Custom reports, graphs and charts.

Custom reporting capabilities for maintenance type reports were added in VeloLogger™ Version 2.0.   Color graphical Pie Charts, Bar, and Line Graphs were also added in version 2.0.   VeloLogger ™ is always in the process of being updated, future versions will continue to add more report capabilities.

VeloLogger™ data is stored in a Microsoft Access database (VeloLogger.mdb) file.   You can use Microsoft Excel®, Crystal Reports® or any other ODBC compliant program to create your own custom reports, graphs and charts.
